Christmas is truly the most wonderful time of the year.

It’s made for devoting undivided attention to our family and friends, and fondly remembering the ones who are no longer by our sides.

It’s an opportunity to make memories and reflect on the year. A time to eat, drink and be merry.

It’s a time for reconnecting with our traditions.

As children, we scribble heartfelt letters to Santa, leave out carrots for his reindeer, and hang up our stockings in anticipation. We get up on our tippy toes at the kitchen bench to help with Christmas baking and to make messy memories with our nearest and dearest.

As adults, we see the magic of Christmas through the eyes of our children; the excitement that builds on Christmas Eve, the delight of unwrapping gifts on Christmas morning, and the singing of age-old carols (just that little bit out of tune 🎶).

As we close the page on the year ending, our hearts are stirred with love and hope. What a season of wonder and joy!
